International Day of People With a DisAbility (IDPWD)

International Day of people with disability logo 2008International Day of People With a DisAbility (IDPWD) is an official day declared by the United Nations for celebrating the achievements of people with disability. This is part of a worldwide celebration that occurs every year on this date and is the most unique among community awareness days. It brings together organisations, people with a disability, businesses, federal, state and local governments and the wider community. It's about building inclusion in our community, increasing disability awareness and recognising the many contributions of people with a disability.
