The Learning and Development Unit

The Learning and Development Unit offers a range of professional development opportunities to all staff who work in the disability sector. We have a multi-dimensional approach to learning, in order to accommodate the diverse range of needs of people with disabilities and staff.

In the year 2000, the Unit was independently recognised as leaders in the field, co-winning the open category for Employer Achievement in Creating a Learning Culture Award of the inaugural DCS and Health Industry Training Board's Training Awards.

We also have an ongoing relationship with Box Hill TAFE, Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE and Chisholm Institute of TAFE, who support and conduct our accredited training courses in disability studies.
