CARM training 2008
This service designs and produces pictographic resource materials. The resources are accessible, high
quality and low cost, and may assist people across a range of ages with a communication difficulty, but who can
benefit from use of photos and pictographs in their interactions.
Types of resources :
- Vocabulary cards
- Mini boards
- Scripted language displays
- Games
- Category pages for communication books
These cover a wide range of topics and vocabulary needs, suitable for a range of ages.
State of the art communication materials
The service has invested in the latest technology for high quality desktop publishing of communication
materials, and can provide resources form Pictographic Communication Symbols and Compic publishing software, as
well as high quality photo resources.
Highly skilled staff
The service is staffed by speech pathologists with extensive experience in the area of alternative and
augmentative communication.
