Scope, provides specialist statewide services to people with physical and multiple
disabilities, using flexible and innovative service models. We also provide professional development and
training for the disability sector, as well as consultancy services to the community. All services are designed
to improve outcomes and quality of life for people with disabilities.
The Building Advisory Serviec advises on access related issues in new and existing buildings, institutions and businesses.
High quality pictographic communication aids for people with severe communication disorders.
Assessment and individualised prescription of mobility aids for children and young people with multiple and
physical disabilities.
The MAKATON Vocabulary uses Key Word Sign and Gesture to support communication, and is a means of
encouraging language development in children and adults with communication difficulties.
GISS provides support and information to assist people who have gastrostomies, their families and
carers.
WOW is a state-wide support network, for people who work/live with babies and young children (0-6) with mealtime and oral difficulties
