Scope congratulates Shane Kelly and Hilary Johnson on their recent CP Australia Distinguished Service Medals

Shane Kelly has been instrumental in the development of many advocacy initiatives for people with disabilities dating back to 1981 and has contributed to the development of services for people with disabilities across numerous organisations. Hilary Johnson’s extensive research contribution has led to significant developments in both policies and practices for people with complex communication needs. In addition to the research, teaching and development of service models, Hilary has contributed considerably to the development of strategies to make the community more inclusive and welcoming for people with disabilities.
