More than my child’s disability… A study of family-centred practices and family experiences of Scope early childhood intervention services and supports. (2004)
This research report provides an excellent overview of current research methods to determine levels of family centred practice in Early Intervention Services. By using an adaptation of the Measure of Processes of Care tool, the Scope research also documents the expectations and experiences of parents using Scope services. This is one of the few published benchmarks of Family Centred Practice in early intervention in disability in Australia. This report is a valuable reference tool for Early Intervention Service providers and researchers

This booklet is organised in two sections. The first section has been developed for people with disabilities themselves, written in easy English and using pictures. This section provides information about grief and loss, and strategies for dealing with grief, in an easy-to-read format.
The second section has been developed for people who support people with disabilities to deal with grief and loss. They are written as guidelines that may be helpful to families and service providers who wish to actively assist the grieving person with disability.

The Triple C - Checklist of Communication Competencies
By Karen Bloomberg and Denise West - The Triple C is a screening checklist designed for use in assessing the communication skills of adolescents and adults who have severe or profound disabilities.
The package includes a manual, 10 checklist forms and a teaching video. The video presents scenarios that highlight the skills and abilities seen in the first six stages of communication development. The manual includes information on communication stages, instructions on how to score the checklist and 10 checklist forms.

The InterACCtion package is the sequel to the Triple C - Checklist of Communication Competencies. The package is composed of a manual and training video.
