Scope has several vacancies for both permanent and casual Disability Support Workers in the following areas:

Southern Region: Bentleigh, Ormond, Murreenbeena, Malvern, Elsternwick, Clayton, Parkdale, Edithvale, Hampton, Noble Park, Moorabin;
North West Region: St Albans, Footscray, Maidstone, Sunshine, Keilor Downs;
Eastern Region: Mount Waverley, Glen Waverley, Box Hill, Nunawading, Mitcham, Syndal, Boronia, Lilydale, Wantirna, Ringwood, Bayswater, Croydon

The role entails assisting clients in their residential houses and at day centres. Duties include: supporting clients to live as independently as possible, community access activities, developing partnerships with communities, providing a positive role model for people with a disability, personal care work and support with domestic / household tasks.

Flexibility in working hours is essential as the roles involve shift work including mornings, afternoons, weekends and sleepovers.

Previous experience and training is preferred, however is not mandatory. We can offer you staff development and ongoing training in a supportive working environment with excellent hourly rates.

Successful applicants will be required to have a current Level One First Aid Certificate, hold a satisfactory Police Check issued within the last 12 months for Disabled care and a Working with Children Check.
