Mealtime Assistance ~ Through a tube

This workshop is suitable for anyone who might need to assist a person with a meal through a tube.

Support workers, speech pathologists, dieticians, child care workers and family members will find this workshop provides valuable information and skill development.

The workshop is presented by staff from the Gastrostomy Information and Support Society (GISS) and is both practical and interactive.

The session includes an overview of gastrostomies, equipment, enteral feeds, types of tube feeding and trouble shooting.

Participants will receive a certificate on completion of a practical and written assessment.
