Education and training

We can tailor education/training to meet the needs of individuals or organisations. We also have a Training Program of regularly scheduled workshops. 

At our Open Days we have many communication aids and resources available for demonstration and consultations.

We currently specialize and provide training in:

• How to make written information accessible for people who have difficulty reading and understanding written information.
• Assessing communication - where to begin.
• Strategies and tools for determining the communication needs of people with complex communication needs.
• Communicating with people who are difficult to understand.
• The communication issues for people with autism and practical strategies to support communication.
• How to increase social networks for people who can't talk.
• How to assess and develop functional strategies to support communication and make life more meaningful for people with high support and complex communication needs.
• Communication for people who have had a stroke or brain injury.
