Education and training

We can tailor education/training to meet the needs of individuals or organisations. We also have a Calendar of scheduled workshops. 

We specialize and provide training in:

• Assessing communication – where to begin.
• Strategies and tools to support people with communication difficulties – including people with intellectual disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders and acquired brain injuries.
• How to make written information accessible for people who have difficulty reading and understanding written information.
• How to make communication aids.
• Using a sensory-focused approach – meaningful participation for people with profound intellectual and multiple disabilities (PIMD).
• Gastrostomy support and competency based training.

The Communication Resource Centre also holds FREE Information Sessions.
