How do I get the Communication Access Symbol

  1. Complete the Communication Access Self Assessment Quiz.
  2. Contact the Communication Resource Centre to register your interest in having a Communication Access Assessment (in Victoria only). Email: crc@scopevic.org.au or Phone: 03 9843 2000.
  3. The Communication Resource Centre will contact you to organise a time and date for the Communication Access Assessment. 
  4. A Communication Access Assessor will visit your business or service and complete the Communication Access Assessment.
  5. After the Communication Access Assessment you will receive a Certificate of Participation. 
  6. You will receive a feedback on how communication accessible your business or service is. 
  7. If you are communication accessible you will receive the Communication Access Symbol, which is valid for 12 months.
  8. Your business or service will then be listed on the Scope Directory of Communication Accessible Businesses and Services.
