Professional Development & Training

The Learning and Development Unit offers a range of professional development opportunities to all staff who work in the disability sector. We have a multi-dimensional approach to learning, in order to accommodate the diverse range of needs of people with disabilities and staff.

The Unit is frequently recognised as a leader in the field and has won numerous awards such as the open category for Employer Achievement in Creating a Learning Culture Award.

The award was presented in 2000 at the inaugural DCS and Health Industry Training Board Awards.

Scope has an ongoing relationship with Box Hill TAFE, Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE and Chisholm Institute of TAFE, who support and conduct our accredited training courses in disability studies.
