Lifestyle Options

Scope’s Lifestyle Options provide a range of flexible services and activities to support people with a disability to live the life that they want.

Activities

We encourage the people we support to get involved in their local community by actively engaging in sports, health and social activities at a variety of locations.

This enables people to develop skills to live as independently as possible with appropriate support.

We provide group based activities for specific needs as well as one to one support.

This service introduces people to life skills that enable a smooth transition from school to community.

Education pathways

Our youth programs facilitate vocational courses at TAFE and provide assistance with further education options.

This service enables the people we support to achieve their potential and to be aware of their learning needs.

Work Experience Opportunities

We provide assistance with placements in work experience programs for those interested. This service explores skills development and volunteer work to match the abilities of the people we support.

How does the service work?

People meet at a central location and travel together to access community activities or travel directly from home to the relevant venue.

Individuals can also choose to remain at the central location for site specific activities. We may be able to assist you with Transport options. Specialist Services are also available if required and this will be discussed during the planning process. 

The range of activities are customised to the individual needs and goals of the people we support. 

How can I access services provided by Scope?

• Contact your local Lifestyle Options Coordinator, see details below.
• Scope will meet with you to discuss your specific needs and situation.
• Together we will develop an individualised plan. 
• Scope will make an offer to you that will outline its services and costs.
• We can help with funding discussions if required.
• Once an agreement is reached Scope will prepare a contract with you for the Lifestyle Options service.
