Computer technology
$10 – Many of our clients benefit greatly from computers through their day to day leisure. Online communities are becoming increasingly more popular for children and adults. Your contribution can help purchase an accessible computer part, screen reader tool or contribute to a computer system worth thousands of dollars.
Maintenance
$25 – Scope has over 90 sites across Victoria than require ongoing maintenance. Your contribution will support us in ensuring the highest quality service offering for our clients.
Transportation
$35 – Our clients want to make their own choices and do what they enjoy doing. This might be a recreational or leisure activity such as going to the gym, swimming or another community activity.
Communication aide
$50 – The Scope Communication Resource Centre aims to ensure that people with complex communication needs and associates communicate successfully and effectively. Your contribution will help purchase an invaluable item that will improve the lives of people with a disability.
Therapy
$95 per hour (approx) – Many of our clients require therapy for many different needs such as helping a child walk, physiotherapy, occupational or speech therapy.
Psychology
$100 per hour – Give someone who can’t talk a voice or contribute to research projects such as the Bridging Project.
Height adjustable ladder
- $120 – Developing motor skills in children is important early. Standing frames and walking frames can cost multiple hundreds of dollars.
Fuel for buses
$145 – Many of our clients use wheelchairs and need accessible buses to transport them.
Electric hoists
$2200 - Our accommodation and respite services need electric hoists to move adults with mobility impairments.
