Listed below are dress code regulations, schedule for the day’s activities and other information you need to know prior to the event.

Yarra Yarra Golf Club

Yarra Yarra Golf Club is a par 72 course with its primary feature being its classic par 3 holes. Yarra Yarra is host of the Australian Ladies Masters and is an enjoyable golf course that provides a level of challenge for both low and high handicappers alike.

Dress Regulations

Members and guests of Yarra Yarra Golf Club are asked to maintain their high standard of dress regulations. Golfers may not be permitted to play on the course if the Club believes their standards are not met.

Players must wear golf shoes on the course and all golf attire is accepted.  View the details on Dress Regulations. 

Note: Please do not wear jeans/denim.

Equipment Hire

Yarra Yarra Golf Club has an onsite golf shop and staff who are happy to assist with equipment hire for those players who wish to be fitted out for the day.

Please contact Lori-Rose McGinty, email lmcginty@scopevic.org.au or phone 9843 3043 if you would like to hire items such as Golf Shoes, Clubs or a Buggy for your golf clubs and we will arrange on your behalf.

11.00am: Registration
11.15am: Golf Clinic with Golf Pro
11.45am: Light lunch
12.45pm: Player briefing
1.00pm: Shotgun start (Ambrose format) (insert link to our website & Ambrose info)
5.30pm: Golf challenge concludes / post-game drinks
6.00pm: BBQ dinner & presentations
8.00pm: Event concludes

Hole-In-One Competitions

As a special bonus for participating in the Scope Whitbread Golf Challenge we are pleased to announce two hole-in-one competitions.

Any player who scores a hole-in-one at the nominated Whitbread Insurance Brokers hole will receive a prize with the $10,000 being donated to the Scope Equipment Fund.

If the hole-in-one is scored on the nominated GOLFSelect hole the player will receive a $1,000 GOLFSelect Holiday voucher for golf travel anywhere in the world.

Format of Golf

The Ambrose format is very popular as it allows all standards of golfers to mix and play together with equal enjoyment irrespective of ability. Read more about the Ambrose Format.
