The Gastrostomy Information and Support Society (GISS)

  • Provides support and information to assist people who have gastrostomies or jejunostomies, their families and carers
  • Promotes provision of appropriate community based services and support for people with gastrostomies or jejunostomies
  • Distributes written information about gastrostomies and care of  gastrostomies and jejunostomies
  • Provides and promotes competency based training for support workers and allied health professionals who support people with gastrostomies or jejunostomies.

The National Office of GISS is located in Victoria with branches in New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Victoria.
