you be the difference
Celebrating - Cerebral Palsy Awareness Week 2009
People with cerebral palsy (CP) are invited to share how they are making a difference in the world - at school, at work, or in your community through the you be the difference campaign.
Take this opportunity to inspire, motivate or thank others.
Each state around Australia will select its most inspiring story, and one of these will then be named Australia’s Most Inspirational Story.
To share your story, photo or video with Australia go to: www.youbethedifference.com.au when the website goes live on 30 July 2009. Everyone has a story to tell. We want to hear yours!
Scope has been working with our counterparts in other States to bring this campaign together.
We are delighted that Woman’s Day is on board to sponsor the campaign and that they are featuring Australia’s most inspiring stories for each State in the following categories:
· Story (up to 2500 characters) + profile photo
· Photograph + story (up to 2500 characters) or a caption (up to 750 characters) + profile photo
· Video + caption (up to 750 characters) + profile photo (please provide YouTube link for video)
Please note: the numbers in the stories are characters not words.
In addition to the story being published by Women's Day, Scope will place the story in our Horizon newsletter.
Click here to share your story, photo or video on Facebook or search for TCCP WA on Facebook to become part of the online community. Alternatively, you can email Scope content for the category you think best suits you (if you submit a video please email us the You Tube link). Our email address is contact@scopevic.org.au.
Thank for supporting this great initiative. We look forward to hearing your story!
