Scope’s clients join the fight against prostate cancer at the Ray White 2010 EJ Whitten Legends Game
While Victoria took on the All Stars at Eithad Stadium on Tuesday 6th July, football fans living with a disability joined the fight against prostate cancer off the field in support of the Ray White EJ Whitten Legends Game.
For the 3rd year 100 of Scope’s clients, their families and staff attended the game, with some also selling the Football Record throughout the event.
Two lucky Scope clients also had the once in a life time opportunity to meet the players in the rooms before they hit the field.
Part-proceeds from the sale of the programs will go towards Scope’s mission in supporting people living with a disability to achieve their potential in welcoming and inclusive communities.
“Scope is thrilled to have been involved in selling the AFL Records once again for the Ray White EJ Whitten Legends Game, Scope’s clients and staff love being involved in the game each year,” said Diana Heggie, Scope CEO.
“Prostate cancer is an issue for all men, including men who live with a disability. The best defense against prostate cancer is early diagnosis and treatment. Scope is urging all men to get their prostate checked by their GP during regular check ups”.
