Christmas comes early to four young children taking their first independent steps
Four children aged from two to seven-years-old have taken their first independent steps this Christmas after being fitted with a variety of specially designed walking frames.
GoKids is the Children’s Mobility Advisory Service of Scope.
“Being able to walk is a skill we all take for granted,” said GoKids Coordinator, Elise Rizzo.
“But to these children it means being able to play with their friends and to generally live a full and active life just like any other child.
“It was so nice to see the bright smiles on the children’s faces when took their first steps,” she said.
GoKids has been able to provide these walkers, valued at over $9000 in total, thanks to the kind generosity of mortgage brokers, Rhino Money, who has donated over $30,000 to GoKids during their seven year working relationship.
“We are so grateful to Rhino Money for their ongoing generosity and we look forward to continuing the relationship in the years to come,” said Elise.
