Bunnings at Mentone supports Scope

WHO: Clients from Scope Day Service, Thames Promenade and staff from Bunnings at Mentone

WHAT: Bunnings at Mentone have come on board to help Scope Day Service, Thames Promenade make over their front garden.

Thames Promenade has over 30 clients who attend Scope’s day service. Scope offers people with a disability a variety of programs and support them to participate in their community and live their life to the fullest. 

Bunnings at Mentone organized a work-party day where 4 of their staff came out and spent a day working on the project. They removed all the current weeds, placed mulch around the garden, and planted dry tolerant Australian native plants.

“We really appreciate Bunning’s support of Scope through assisting with this much needed project. The clients are getting so much enjoyment out of the garden” said Diana Heggie, Scope’s CEO.

A thank you morning tea for the Bunnings staff will be held on Tuesday 27th April at 10.30am.
