Bayswater Respite Home Project

Bayswater Respite Home Project

Scope is currently working on developing the plans to start construction of a six bedroom respite facility in James Street Bayswater.

The Bayswater Respite Facility will give over 60 families in the eastern region essential respite breaks so they can live their lives knowing their loved ones are cared for in a new, pleasant and innovative respite facility.

We would like to thank our partners and supporters who are making this respite facility a reality.

With generous support from the John T Reid Charitable Trusts, we are most of the way there.

Nearby Westfield Doncaster continues to actively fundraise with Scope in a variety of ways. Raising vital funds by engaging their Retail partners, who are actively involved in assisting Scope with outfitting of this new home with appliances, furniture, & other essential items; all items that make a house a home.

The Department of Health and Services (DHS) have also supported the project with a grant to help us outfit the home with essential aids such as electric hoists.

Should you or your business wish to support this essential Scope project with a donation or offer of in-kind goods/services, please do not hesitate to contact Kylie Payne, General Manager Marketing, Communications & Fundraising, Email: kpayne@scopevic.org.au or Tel: 03 9843 2029.
