Day & Lifestyles Options Volunteer
Scope Day and Lifestyle Options provide a range of centre-based and community-based programs for people with a disability.
Centre-based activities include areas such as reading, story telling, computer programs, exercise programs, gardening, cooking, music and art and craft.
Community-based activities include areas such as swimming, gym, movies, bowling, playing pool, shopping and library visits.
Day and Lifestyle Programs generally operate on weekdays from 10am - 3pm. How much time you wish to contribute is entirely up to you!
No formal qualifications are necessary. Your skills and interests will be carefully matched to existing needs.
Volunteers are supervised and supported by Scope Staff members. Volunteers receive orientation as well as individual and on-going training.
Scope Day and Lifestyle Options are situated throughout Scope's metropolitan and regional locations.
All applicants must go through the volunteer selection process.
Volunteer Selection Process
The Volunteer Selection Process includes an initial interview and completion of an application form. As part of your application process you’ll need to include 2 references and a police check.
