Accommodation Services Volunteer
Scope Accommodation Services Volunteers support people with a disability to enable them to live in a variety of settings depending on the differing levels of support needed.
People may live in shared accommodation settings or in their own home. Respite services are also offered to give carers and their family members a break from their everyday routines.
Volunteers support residents to experience varying activities and interests, develop social interactions and friendships, and support residents to take part in recreational and/or community programs.
Volunteers are required on weekdays and weekends both in the evening and during the day. How much time you wish to contribute is entirely up to you!
No formal qualifications are necessary. Your skills and interests will be carefully matched to existing needs.
Volunteers are supervised and supported by Scope Staff members. Volunteers receive orientation as well as individual and on-going training.
Scope Accommodation services are situated throughout Scope's Metropolitan and regional locations.
All applicants must go through the volunteer selection process.
Volunteer Selection Process
The Volunteer Selection Process includes an initial interview and completion of an application form. As part of your application process you’ll need to include 2 references and a police check.
