Membership - a vital link for inclusive communities

Scope is a member based organisation. Our formation and success has largely been attributed to the role, commitment and importance of our members over the years.

Members make a strong contribution to the work of Scope and are a vital link that helps us to make our community more inclusive, accessible and welcoming to people with a disability. Two key areas that members of Scope contribute to are Advocacy and Networking.

Members of Scope are a diverse group of people. They include clients, parents and family members, staff, friends, health professionals, schools, government, businesses and many other supporters from all avenues of life.

One key element all members have in common is a desire to make a difference in the lives of people with a disability.

Call for Life Membership Nominations

The Scope membership category of Life Membership is to recognise an individual’s extraordinary work and achievements to the Scope community and people with a disability in Victoria. Entry into the Life Membership category is only by nomination and approval by the Scope Board.

If you would like to nominate a person you believe has made a significant contribution to the Scope community and people with a disability in Victoria, please complete a Life Membership Application Form.

All applications must be received by close of business on 15 September 2010 to be considered.
