Organisations like Scope rely heavily on the public for support, through fundraising and community awareness opportunities.

We currently receive 65% of our funding from the government, and rely on fundraising to gather the remaining 35% of revenue required to provide services across the state to children and adults with disabilities, together with support mechanisms for families and carers. Every time you buy a raffle ticket or attend one of our events, you have made a valuable contribution towards the continuation of our work.

And every person who reads our literature and passes the information to family, friends and colleagues is playing a vital role in developing a greater community awareness of daily issues facing people with disabilities. By raising public awareness of disability issues, we can hope to create greater opportunities for people with disabilities to more fully integrate into their community.
