Individualised services that can support you…

Working with people with disability, families and support networks who purchase services or have a package of funding. We explore how best to support you in flexible ways based on your dreams, desires and needs so that you can live the life you want.

What can Scope do for you?
  • Scope and its community partners has many ways of supporting you that will be linked to your needs, interests and dreams
  • We can do things like plan a new bathroom, assist you to set up your own home and employ support staff, we can support you to
    go swimming, and spend your money in the way you want
  • We work with your local community
  • We work side -by-side with you, if you have trouble doing what you would like to do
  • You choose what you do
  • You choose where it happens
  • You can do things on your own or with groups of people who like the same things as you

Who can access services?
  • Any family or person with a disability who has their own money
  • Anyone who has funds through programs; such as Transport Accident Commission, Support and Choice, HomeFirst, Futures for Young Adults, Making a Difference, or compensation payment
  • People of all ages
  • People who live in Victoria
  • People who work with people with a disability
  • Groups and organisations who want to include people with a disability in their community/ies

Services for Everyone

Scope offers a range of services and supports to people with a disability from early childhood through adulthood. Services provided are individual and family focused.

  • Accommodation support to live independently
  • Respite Support
  • Attendant care support for people with a disability and their families
  • Wide-ranging artistic , recreation and leisure opportunities
  • Education and information for people with disability and the community
  • Community based groups supporting people with disabilities
  • Brokerage; where we purchase services on your behalf
  • Service coordination, family service coordination and case management
  • Health, therapy and psychology support
  • Communication Resource Centre of Scope for advice and information on complex communication needs
  • Consultancy and advice including Building Advisory Service
  • Person centred planning (individual whole of life planning)

What will it cost you?

  • We will talk with you about how much it will cost for the supports you want. This can include looking at your current supports and other supports that are available in your community
  • We will be open and clear about what your money will buy.
