Everyday Living

Accommodation

Scope provides long term accommodation options, allowing people with physical and multiple disabilities the opportunity to live in their homes with the support necessary for a quality lifestyle.

Through provision of personal care and other supports, the work of service staff can enable residents to live within the community. Residents are also assisted with community access and social/recreational networks.

Support is provided to residents at more than 50 different sites across the state, including houses owned by Scope, through private rental, properties belonging to the Office of Housing, and in peoples' own homes.

Accommodation services are situated throughout the Melbourne metropolitan region, and in country Victoria at Bendigo, Geelong, Ballarat and Warragul.

Respite Care

Scope offers respite services to many families statewide. These services offer short term breaks for families and carers of people with disabilities. Support is given to the primary care giving relationship, while aiming to provide a positive experience for the person with a disability - to make new friends, learn new skills, and have independent time away from home.
